At St James, we are a welcoming Christian community made up of people from many cultures, languages, and generations.
We are united by God’s love, rooted in Jesus Christ, and shaped by prayer, Scripture, and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit.
Our diversity is one of God’s gifts to us. We believe church is not just a place where different people sit side by side, but a family where we learn from one another, worship together, and grow in faith, hope, and love.
In our worship, we pray, read the Bible, and sing in different languages, including English, Tamil, Hindi, Arabic, and other languages spoken by members of our church family.
We want St James to be a living sign of God’s welcome — “a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7)— where everyone can find belonging, friendship, and a space to grow closer to God, one another, and to the calling God has placed on their lives.

Mission Partner Visit
Richard Sharp

This Sunday we are pleased to welcome Richard Sharp from Operation Mobilisation, one of our mission partners. Richard will be sharing God's word and his news with us. He has served with OM for many years and has been involved in sharing the gospel in simple, practical, and engaging ways, as well as helping train others to speak naturally about their faith.
Please do join us and give Richard a warm welcome.
